(Chapter Twenty-five)

“And what made you think that I am Aiba Masaki?” Shin asked, looking straight in the eyes of Sho.

“Because your DNA confirms that you are Aiba Masaki and I happened to had your hair to do the DNA test”

“How do you get the hair?”

“From the hug, the first time we met” Sho answered. “Look, I know what I did was wrong as I checked it without your permission but I desperately need an answer and I don’t want our friendship based on lies”

“And now you think it still not based on lies?” Shin asked, acidly.

Sho was about to reply but then he shut his mouth. He knows now he hurt Shin, he hurt him badly as his selfishness of getting back his best friend took control of his senses. He looked at Shin, who is now looked really dazed in confusion of finding out the truth about himself.

“Look Ai…Shin” Sho managed to switch the name before his next setences. “Please do remember it. You are Aiba Masaki, you were born on 24 December 1982 in Chiba and your family still lives in Chiba and owns a restaurant. You joined Johnny’s Jimunsho when you were 14 year old and became part of Arashi when you were 16 year old and you are still part of Arashi along with me, Ninomiya Kazunari, Ohno Satoshi and Matsumoto Jun.”

Shin looked dumbstruck. He tried to sink in the fact Sho mentioned just now.

“How come I can’t remember any of this? How come I can’t remember any of these guys that Sho mentioned earlier? So I had a family in Chiba, then who is the family I’m currently living with now? Does that mean for the past half years I had been living in a lie?” Shin thought, while scratching his snow-cap hard.

Shin looked at Sho, who looked at him hopefully. Sho doesn’t look he is lying here.

Shin always found it weird when the first time he met Sho. He is not someone who can easily got close to people, at least not in his current identity but when he met Sho, somehow deep inside his feeling of longing to control his movement. He always knew he had a special bond with Sho, but somehow he don’t know how to explain it.

Shin stands up abruptly with cause Sho to jump too.

“I need time to think” Shin said.

Sho looked at him but grabbed Shin’s arm when he is about to leave.

Shin who currently not in a good mood, whirled around and pushed Sho away.

“PLEASE STOP!” he yelled. Tears already welled up in his eyes. “WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO NOW? I’M CLUELESS OF WHO I AM AND NOW I NEED TIME TO THINK! IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK?”

Sho looked at Shin. Suddenly he remembered his outburst at Aiba, the last time Aiba tried to help. It was exactly the same situation only this time they switched the characters. He hardly saw Aiba’s angry before this and especially at him. Sho knew he should gave Shin time to think but when he saw Shin was about to leave just now, it was his reflects that took control of him, as in grabbing his arm. Sho hates to see his best friend hurt. And it pained him more when he knew he is the one who started it first. Sho looked at Shin, who is now working on to calm himself.

“Okay Shin, take your time,” Sho said “I’m going to leave. If you ever need anything, call me and I will be there as soon as I can”

Shin ignored him as he turned around and facing the hill instead of Sho.

Sho, feeling the tears threaten to fall on his cheek walked away from Shin. As he walked away, now he thinks what could possibly happen from this point and the future. He wonders now maybe he will lose either Aiba or Shin forever.

Shin heard Sho walked away. He cried silently, not being able to do anything or sink in anything. He just stands there for about five minutes, letting his tears falling down on the cheek while Momo try to coax him by snuggling around his feet.

He was about to walk away when he heard car tyres screeched and a loud BAM!! Seconds later he heard a loud thud as in something had been hit hard and dropped.

Shin turned around, and for what he saw almost made his heart stop. In instance, he broke into a run and yelled “SHO!!!!!”
