CHAPTER 5

 

“Aiba, didn’t you sleep last night?” Sho asked when he saw Aiba walked toward his place in class. Aiba looked really grumpy and couldn’t have his eyes opened when he was walking.

 

Aiba looked at Sho, unable to translate what Sho was talking about.

 

“Did you say something?”

 

Sho laughed.

 

“Yeah, you sure didn’t have good night sleep,”

 

Then later he saw Ohno walked in, also in the same condition as Aiba.

 

“Did both of you do something last night and didn’t even invite me?” Sho asked, when Ohno came to his place after banging all the tables and chairs.

 

“Well my friend, maybe next time you already had the second place to crash anytime in the hour,” Ohno said to Aiba.

 

Aiba laughed and then laid his head on the table, closing his eyes. Ohno also do the same.

 

“What happen to you two?” Sho asked.

 

“Ask Aiba, I’m too tired to open my eyes,” Ohno said.

 

Sho looked at  Aiba and see Aiba was already asleep, but it was not long since the bell rings and Yankumi-sensei already walked in the class.

 

“Aiba, Ohno I think you guys better wake up,” Sho called.

“Is there something you two are hiding from me?” Sho asked as he, Ohno and Aiba walked headed toward the cafeteria during the lunch break.

 

Aiba and Ohno looked at each other.

 

“C’mon tell me,” Sho said, assuring both of them “I can keep secret.”

 

“OK, but first lets get something to eat,” Aiba said, agreed.

 

When the three of them already got their foods and place to eat, Aiba tell all the details about what happened. Sho listens with full interest.

 

“Are you saying that you are haunted?” Sho asked aloud.

 

Both Ohno and Aiba went over to cover his mouth.

 

“Shh..no need to say it out loud!” Ohno reminded.

 

“I’m not haunted,” Aiba denied “It’s just the same girl keep popping up in my dream asking for my help and later show herself in transparent way,” he muttered.

 

Sho laughed.

 

“I still can’t believe that, ya know,” he said, skeptically.

 

“I had the hard time believe it too, but you should see Aiba’s face when he came to my place this morning,” Ohno said.

 

“Look Sho, it’s up to you whether to believe it or not,” Aiba said, seriously. “Besides I need to find more about this girl. I have a feeling she was from around here.”

 

“Are you saying you want to investigate the blond?” Ohno asked.

 

Aiba nodded and then something caught his attention.

 

“Since when Masami be friends with Matsujun?” he asked when he saw his sister walked with Nino and Jun. The three of them were walking towards the lunch lady and was talking closely, as they were talking about something secret. Masami had her ‘serious looking’ on her face. Aiba knows his sister was up to something.

 

Ohno and Sho looked up and turned to the group.

 

“Wow, she already improved her social ring of friends,” Ohno said.

 

“Who is Masami?” Sho asked. He knew Nino from the last basketball game they played last week and everybody in school knew Matsumoto Jun. Then he focused on the third person of the group, the girl with brown hair. She is tall, she also had a pair of brown eyes. It looks exactly the same as Aiba’s. Sho looked at Aiba’s eyes to make sure of it.

“Yeah it is the same,” he thought and focus back to the girl. The way she dress shows that she is not into fashion and just happy by the way she is. “She is beautiful, but if I looked longer, I can see the girl version of Aiba!”

 

“Hey Aiba, is that your sister?”

 

“Yeah, that’s my twin to be exact,” Aiba answered.
