Regret and Second Chance:Chapter Four

(Chapter Four)                                             

 

 “Tomorrow is Aiba-chan’s birthday” Nino said casually to the other three.

 

Sho looked at Nino with startled stares. Jun and Ohno looked at each other.

 

The four of them had agreed to meet for breakfast in their usual breakfast hang out.

After for about half and hour of not doing anything but staring at their coffee, Nino decided to break the silence by making a statement.

 

“We know, Nino” Jun replied. His hand is playing with the spoon on the table.

 

“What is our plan for tomorrow?” Ohno asked.

 

Among the four of them, usually before this, it was either they’d be at Aiba’s restaurant to celebrate or it would just Nino and Aiba hanging out. Therefore now Nino will be the one who feel terribly wrong and feel the emptiness of the day.

 

“Let’s go to his grave tomorrow night” Nino suggested.

 

“EHHH??” the three of them said in unison.

 

“Don’t you think it’s a bit scary at night?” Ohno asked, innocently which cost him a smack on the head by Jun.

 

“I know” Nino answered “That is why I demanded you guys to come along with me”

 

“Demanded?” Jun emphasised the word

 

Nino nodded, ignoring the remarks.

 

“It just that it wasn’t right to do it at day cause it won’t feel like Christmas Eve at all” Nino said, more like a mumble.

 

“Let’s do it” Suddenly Sho said.

 

Nino smiles as Jun and Ohno looked at Sho. Jun sighed.

 

“After that maybe we can visit Aiba’s family too since this would be their first time as us” Jun spoke up.

 

Nino and Sho nodded.

 

The three of them looked at their Riida waiting for approval.

 

Ohno looked at them and smile “Lets do it!”
