Summary: What happened during Friday at Aiba and Nino’s school during the night?

Author’s note: The idea originally belong to my best friend CYS as she wrote it for me and since it feel nice to write ghost story during Halloween month’s, here is one of it…XD * means Triple DoS Team

Part 5

The school clock outside show that it is now 11.45pm. I was standing inside the school building hall along with Aiba and Jun.

The night was a bit damp and cold and creepy. The wind blew breezily and the trees branches were moving left and right following the rhythm of the wind as in an orchestra playing dark music and the hall is sure a creepy place to be standing in at the moment.

I zipped my sweater, while Jun adjusting his snow-cap and Aiba currently busy lighting the book he currently read for the instruction for our plan that night. I looked at the clock again. Only left ten more minutes before Friday the 13^th make an entrance.

I was still wondering why we have to be standing outside at the moment while I recalled back what happened earlier.

“We need to go to the back road of the school, the road that lead to the cemetery next exit so that we can be at the school hall and it’s the only shortcut we can use” Aiba said when we were getting ready for the night.

“Why? I don’t like cemetery during the day and I hated it during the night! Aren’t we supposed to look for the dead on my bed instead of the whole school ghosts??” I whined.

“We just have to go to the road not to the cemetery baka! Stop whining and let’s get moving!” Aiba said as he grabbed his sweater along with mine and Jun as he toast it to us and open the door.

The three of us went out from the room, crept out silently through the hostel hallway so we won’t be bumping with the school night caretaker Takashi-san. We broke into a run when we arrived at the main door and sneaked out to the school compound. We stopped running when we confirmed the coast is clear and we start walking to the back road that lead to the cemetery on the right when I arrived at the end of the junction I realised there was another small route on the left and it somehow lead to the school back.

We walked along the small route up till we saw the school fence. And then Aiba walked a bit to the left, searching for something along the fence and few seconds later he found a small already cut open fence that can allow one person in and out without notice. He opened the fence wide enough for me, Jun and him to pass trough before he close it back.

Then with the help of the moonlight, we continued walking till we reached the front door of the school hall and went inside and stand quietly at the middle of the hall.

The clock chimed in, snapping me back to reality as I looked at the clock striking midnight.

Then I saw Aiba switch on his flashlight and shove it around.

“Okay…” Aiba started, stammered at the same time “Concentrate on looking around without any other things on your mind except for ghost. Then close your eyes now while I read a spell”

Once I saw Jun close his eyes I closed mine. The two of us were waiting for Aiba’s murmuring for the words of spell but I didn’t hear a word at all.

“Maybe he is reading it with his inner voice” I thought calmly.

“Okay, now we can open our eyes” Aiba said in a sudden.

The three of us open our eyes slowly and later gaped in horror.

I am currently looking at the things I have been afraid of meeting of ever. I saw them!

I looked at Jun and Aiba and both of them were having the same expression as mine too.

I glanced back at them and observing the scene. I realised that they were floating upside down which I found it amusing and funny and they weren’t scary at all. They even came in variety of colors even! When I looked at them I cant help of thinking about Casper the friendly ghost! I realised that all of them were see-trough and now they were flying around the three of us.

I saw Jun tried to touch them but failed as I saw his hand went through them. I saw Aiba was beaming with excitement.

“This is cool ne!” he said excitedly.

“Yea it is cool but I thought the reason we are doing this is to look for the ghost in our room remember!”

I looked at them and shouted “ Who is among you is currently haunting our room?”

“Are you nuts? You will wake the whole school!” Jun whispered, angrily.

“Uh oh….” Suddenly I heard Aiba small sigh of trouble.

“Whats wrong Aiba?” Jun asked.

Aiba passed the book to Jun and then later Jun also let out the same sigh as he passed me the book.

I looked at book as I read trough it.

RULES!!

~Do NOT shout when you see them!

~Do NOT fear when you see them!

~Do NOT mention your name when you are with them!

WARNING!!

~If you BROKE even one of the rules above, you will be upside down….

Before I could finish the sentence, suddenly I felt myself being lifted automatically along with Aiba and Jun as we screamed in surprise as now we’re already upside down.

“NINO!!!!!” both Jun and Aiba whispered annoyingly at me.

“What? I’m sorry! You didn’t even tell us the rules in the first place” I said pointedly to Aiba.

“Will we ever turn back to normal?” Jun asked, desperately.

“We will have to wait until morning to be normal again” Aiba answered.

“Then are we going to spend the whole night here? Upside down with them?” I complained, forgetting that I was the one who cause it at the first place.

Jun and Aiba threw a dirty look at me.

“Its your fault to begin with! So stop complaining!” Jun warned.

Oooooooo….

Suddenly I heard the voice again. The voice I have been waiting to hear tonight.

“Hey, did you hear that?” I asked.

“What?” Aiba asked back, looking at me as in I was about to lost my mind.

“SHHH!!! Be quiet and listen!” I demanded.

Both Jun and Aiba listened hard and they both nodded indicating that they heard it too.

“Lets follow the voice” Jun said as Aiba and I nodded.

We start walking heading to the voice (of course we’re walking upside down!). We walked back to the route we used earlier and later we ended up arriving in front of Aiba and my room as we can hear the voice loud and clear from behind the close door.

Aiba tried open the unclose door with his legs as the three of us peek inside the room.

We went inside the room, and when we focused on our vision on my bed, the sudden view made the three of us jumped back in shock.

In front of us, sitting on my bed was a headless women body with her head, eyes closed on her lap and she was crying or more likely humming happily when we hear it clearly.

I decided to take a closer look of the ghost while Jun and Aiba were currently hiding behind Aiba open closet door.

I went as quietly as I can and suddenly by the time I get close to her, suddenly her eyes snapped open and she laughed.

I trembled back as Jun and Aiba went into hiding straight away. I looked at the laughing ghost approaching me while I stumbled back and suddenly I heard she said “HONEY, WELCOME BACK!!” and she tried to reach out for me with her free hand.

I start to scream and later be join by Jun and Aiba (even though they currently in hiding) . but suddenly by the time she was about to grab me, a flashed of orange light pierced trough her body which cause her to shriek in pain as I realised it was the sunlight and after few minutes later she was completely disappeared.

“Ouch!” the three of us yelped in pain when we fall down on the ground.

“Wow that was so close!” Jun said as the three of us leaned on the floor, staring at the ceiling.

“It was scary and you both left me alone!” I said, annoyingly.

“The ghost called you honey! Did you know her somewhere?” Aiba asked, jokingly which cost him a smack on the forehead by me.

Jun laughed and said “Well at least everything turn out okay!”

“Yea and I get to know my other bed occupant too! Well at least I won’t be meeting her up till the next Friday the 13^th which I don’t even know when it will be again!” I said, happily as my eyelid started to feel heavy.

Jun and Aiba laughed in agreement.

“Well it is sure fun! Want to try it again next time...” but before Aiba could finished his sentence both Jun and I roll over by each of his side, one covering his mouth while the other one covering his eyes...

“We had enough fun for the whole day!” Jun said softly as he start to lower his hand from Aiba’s mouth and rolls back to lay on his back again, closing his eyes.

“Yeah, I agreed with Jun and I’m not looking forward to meet any of them anytime soon, so now get some sleep!” I said as I take my hand off his eyes only to find out that Aiba’s already snoring softly.

I smiled as I put my arm to cover my eyes as sleep take controls of me.

“I’m happy to meet both of you and that was sure fun! Thanks Aiba! Thanks Jun!”
