Chapter 4

I yawned when I looked at the clock hang on the wall before the front entrance of the house from my PSP. It was fifteen minutes before 9am.

“Where’s Matsujun? He should call me by now. Its almost 9am and if we arrive late, we have to do some weird school dance then which I fancy other people do but do not fancy do it by myself (but I would love to see Matsujun do it, hehe).

Then as in he knows I’ve been thinking something bad about him, I hear my phone ringing, indicating a text just arrived.

I’ve been sneezing just now so I think you might be thinking something bad about me! I already arrived at the down hill and you can cycle down now!

-Matsujun-

“WOW! Talk about instinct!” I thought when I read the text as I grabbed my bag and went to the garage to take my bike.

I cycled downhill and by the time I arrived at the road junction, I can see Matsujun was already there along with Ohno, Nino, Sho and Caely.

“Wow Matsujun must be really late huh, up till you guys also already here too” I said when I stopped my bike beside Jun.

Jun went over to my side and smacked my head.

“It’s not my fault that today my watch decide to die and let me awake by myself!” he gave an excuse which cause the rest of us laughed.

“You always woke up late, Jun!” Caely said “Only today it’s a bit miracle you woke a bit early since you promise Aiba to go to school with him today”

“Well that is true...” Jun said in a small voice “and I wondered why you guys are here too because I don’t think I even invite you all…”

“Do you said something Jun?” Ohno asked, when he saw Jun mouth seem to be uttering something.

“No…No…I didn’t say anything…” Jun stumbled and starts to pedal away from the group. “If you don’t mind of doing the Mizukawa-sensei weird dance you guys can sit still and take your time talking cause now I think we’re running behind seclude here and I would love to see all of you dancing!!!”

“Oh shit!! We’re going to be late if we didn’t move now! Hey Jun, wait for us!!” Nino said as he also starts to pedal away along with others.

“Race you guys to school and whoever late will treats us to ice-cream later after school!!” Jun yelled, laughing as he starts to pedal far away from the group, increasing the speed.

“Good idea!” Caely agreed as she also started to increase the speed, follow closely to Jun.

“I really want Nino to lose as I really want to feel what it likes to taste an ice-cream paid by Nino…” Ohno said, laughing when he look at Nino who was desperately pedal hard so that he wouldn’t lose.

“That’s not going to happen, Oh-chan!” Nino yelled.

“Yay!! I won!!” I yelled happily when I arrived at the school gate followed suit by Ohno, Jun, Caely, Sho and lastly Nino.

“Aiba, you are really awesome!” Matsujun compliment as he parked his bike beside me. “I can’t believe you were so fast!”

“Yea you are awesome, but I think the best part is we get to taste an ice-cream paid by Nino, naa Oh-chan?” Caely said; giggle when she saw Nino eyeing her with annoyance.

“Waa this is like dream come true...” Ohno said, patting Nino at the back.

“Who would have thought I even manage to win over Nino…” Sho added, enjoying the fun taunting Nino.

From what I heard from the four of them, they said Nino loves money so much that he hardly spend any money on nothing else except for only his game and if the four of them went to eat with Nino, they will have to pay for Nino too since he will always tend to forget to bring his wallet (more like he deliberately forget to bring it as Matsujun always said).

“So Nino, we’re looking forward this evening for the ice-cream…” Jun said, as he starts to walk to the school building.

“Don’t worry Nino, we wont ask for the expensive one…” Caely added when she passed by Nino, to follow Jun.

“This is sure a dream comes true! Kami-sama, arigatou for hearing my prayer…” Ohno said, looking up at the sky.

“I’m thinking the same thing too…” Sho couldn’t help to laughed and nodded to Ohno statement as the two of them starts to walk away too leaving me and Nino.

I only laughed when I looked at all of them, enjoying their moment to taunt Nino who was already checking his wallet.

“I hate you guys…..” he muttered as I grabbed him with me, heading toward the same direction as the other four.

I only laughed as in secret I was also enjoying the moment.

“This could turn out to best year of my life with all of these guys…”
