(Chapter Fourty-four)

The world is turning. Our dreams are here
Tomorrow will change into any kind of color
Let’s enjoy today. The present won’t come back
It’s a summer where you feel happiness even in the ordinary

It’s a summer where I can only hear the sound of the waves
I work too hard with a worn-out body
Even if I know that, there are things I can’t do at all
I stretch myself too much and I can’t take moving about

I was waiting and slowly passed the time. I was only searching for excuses

“So do you remember who you are?” Ohno asked suddenly, breaking the silence that been aroused the four of them at the hospital café.

After watching Jun hugging the guy who they all thought as Aiba for about ten minutes ago and while waiting for Sho’s surgery news (which they don’t know when the surgery will finish) Ohno had asked Jun, Nino and Shin to the café to have a talk and to know how Sho had been involved in the accident in the first place.

But once they settled down with their ordered and seating, all four of them were speechless and were busy looking at other places besides looking at each other and each of them were waiting for one person among them to start the conversation first.

Ohno observes each of his band mates first before decided to talk. He looked at Jun who was busy looking (mostly sneak peek) at Shin even though he tried not be that obvious( which he failed doing it at the moment cause even he drifting his gaze from Shin but seconds later he will looked back at him and just stares) . Ohno knew Jun was really missing his Aiba-chan and his action at the moment confirms his theory.

Then Ohno turned his gaze toward Nino. Even Nino was not being obvious about his tension of happiness having meeting Aiba again but Ohno couldn’t help but to have this feeling that Nino had been meeting Aiba before this. At the moment, Ohno was a bit surprised too as he is surprised about Nino didn’t played his game (or more likely didn’t even brought the game along with him) for the first time ever (cause Nino and his game is inseparatable) but deep inside Ohno knew it must be because of Nino was been hit by two surprised news as in the news of Sho’s accident and also the called was made by other than his own amnesia best friend Aiba. Ohno also noticed Nino would sometimes glance at Aiba as to check in whether he is okay or not. Seeing Nino was acting like these confirm his theory more about the person who was sitting in front of him is Aiba.

From Nino, he then turned to look at the guy in front of him. Ohno knew deep inside his heart, he couldn’t lie about the fact he miss the guy in front of him a lot and somehow he also couldn’t help himself of not feeling angry at Aiba for making the four of them suffered by making them thinking he is dead (even though he knew it was not Aiba’s fault also in the first place). He notices Aiba was also feeling a bit comfortable to be sitting at the same place as the three of them as he seem to notices about Jun and Nino repeatedly stares at him and he also seem to realise about Ohno own tension as he also kept glancing in Ohno’s direction and when he caught himself looking straight in the eyes with Ohno, he would immediately turn away as he feel guilty over something.

Ohno at first meant to ask what really happened to Sho, but somehow when he looked at Aiba, a hidden angriness that he felt in his heart burst out before he could think clearly and therefore instead of asking about Sho’s accident, he asked about Aiba’s remembrance of himself.

“So do you remember who you are?” Ohno asked again when he finally gets all of his member’s attention including Aiba.

“Riida….” Jun and Nino stand up straight away when they realised the tone of Ohno, and apparently Ohno notices Aiba also seem to realise the same thing too.

Shin looked at Ohno in the eyes, before he turned his gaze back on the floor as he shook his head.

“Even when you watched Sho-kun accident, that still doesn’t triggered anything?” by this time Ohno didn’t bothered to hide his anger and disappointment.

“Riida...” Nino said as he put his hand on Ohno’s lap, looking between Ohno and Aiba.

Ohno pointedly ignore Nino tension of his hand on his lap as he continues with his frustration “Have you ever try to look or to investigate your background or you just wait for people to spoon fed you the truth about yourself?” he taunted again when he saw no response came from Aiba or Shin.

“What do you expect me to say?” Suddenly Shin snapped which cause Ohno, Nino and Jun looked at him surprised.

This time it was Jun who put his hand on Shin’s shoulder, trying to calm him down.

“This is not good! Ohno was feeling frustrated and Shin is feeling stress…” Jun thought as he looked at Nino, who seems to have thought the same thing.

“Don’t you think you should by now? You already made us suffered enough!”

“Don’t you think I was aware about that?!”

“Do you ever try??”

“What do you think??” Shin shot back as he looked at Ohno, straight in the eye before he starts to walk out from the café.

Ohno, suddenly realised what he had done sat down as he try to calm himself down.

“Riida, what was that all about?” Jun asked as he watched Nino ran out from the café, chasing after Shin.

Ohno blinked in surprised as he just snapped back to reality. “I’m sorry, I guess I was not in a good mood today…”

“Shin, wait!!!!” Nino yelled as he ran after him.

Shin pointedly ignored his yelled as he sped up his pace toward the hospital entrance door.

Nino feeling desperate and knowing that Shin would stopped for nothing, finally decided to take his chances by yelling

“Aiba!!! I know you already remember who you are!!!!”

And what Nino said made Shin stopped abruptly in his track and he turned around by the time Nino arrived in front of him.

“How do you know about that?”
